چکیده
Dry reforming of methane (DRM) has important and positive environmental industrial impacts, as it consumes two the top greenhouse gases in order to produce syngas (H2 CO) thus hydrogen (H2). The performance DRM conversions CH4 CO2 was investigated over Ni/ZrO2 catalysts. catalytic all prepared catalysts for assessed a micro-tubular fixed bed reactor under similar reaction conditions (i.e., activation temperatures at 700 °C, feed flow rate 70 mL/min, temperature, 440 min time). Various characterization techniques, such BET, CO2-TPD, TGA, XRD, EDX, TEM, were employed. zirconia support modified with MgO or Y2O3. yttria-stabilized catalyst (5Ni15YZr) provided optimum activity 56.1 64.3%, respectively, °C mL/min rate; this also had highest basicity. Ni-based promoted Cs, Ga, Sr. Sr-promoted produced enhancement activity. influence temperature on 5Ni15YZr 5NiSr15YZr indicated that increased increase lower rate. For 5Ni3Sr15YZr, 800 76.3 79.9%, whereas 66.6 79.6% respectively.

In this study, nickel catalysts supported on mesoporous nanocrystalline gamma alumina promoted by various strontium contents were prepared by the impregnation method and employed in dry reforming of methane (DRM). The prepared catalysts were characterized using N2 adsorption (BET), temperature-programmed reduction and oxidation (TPR,) and oxidation (TPDTPO), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scannin...
متن کاملDry reforming of methane under an electro-catalytic bed: effect of electrical current and catalyst composition
Dry reforming of methane (DRM) has been investigated under an electronactivated catalytic bed in a thermo-electrical reactor. The main objective of this work was to investigate what the impact of the electrical current on the conversion of methane is. The combination of thermal and electrical energy allowed achieving higher conversions for both reactants at temperatures varying from 850–950°C. ...

ABSTRACT In this work, the dry reforming of methane was studied using a corona and glow discharge plasma microreactors. A chemical kinetic model was developed to understand the reaction better. The modelization allowed prediction of the reactants conversion according to the energy transfer to the gas (P×τ). The β value is trait of the energy cost, whatever this value was leeser indicated ...

Article history: Received 11 October 2015 Received in revised form 2 December 2015 Accepted 15 December 2015 Available online 17 December 2015 The dry reforming of methane (DRM) utilizes carbon dioxide (CO2) as the oxidizing agent in order to produce synthesis gas. Catalyst deactivation via coking, oxidation, and sintering has stymied the industrialization of catalysts for the DRM. Here, we uti...
